This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Take charge of the visual direction for NinjaTrader Live and all related creative endeavors, ensuring a consistent aesthetic across broadcast, social media, email, and experiential platforms.
• Conceptualize and develop video and motion graphics frameworks (including intros, outros, stingers, lower-thirds, sizzle reels, and social clips) that enhance and unify the brand's vibrant identity.
• Utilize AI creative tools as an integral part of your workflow rather than a novelty.
• Oversee and assist in video editing across various formats, including livestream recaps, social cutdowns, advertisements, highlight reels, and promotional materials.
• Establish creative standards for short-form video, ensuring compelling hooks, pacing, and visual treatments that maximize engagement and retention.
• Guide the Senior Graphic Designer to ensure that both static and motion systems evolve in harmony, maintaining a high creative standard across all outputs.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback that fosters the growth and productivity of your direct report while ensuring quality and consistency in all work.
• Collaborate with producers, media, and social teams to transform business objectives into engaging visual narratives.
• Manage the creative process from concept through execution, balancing hands-on design tasks with strategic oversight.
• Stay updated on trends in motion design, video production, live streaming assets, and advancements in AI creative technologies.
• Develop systems that facilitate scalability, including templates, style guides, and asset organization workflows to enable the team to produce more efficiently without compromising consistency.
• Manage and delegate the creative schedule, overseeing multiple live and ongoing projects with competing deadlines and same-day turnaround requirements.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in motion graphics, video editing, or art direction roles.
• A robust portfolio showcasing motion design, video editing, and brand storytelling across various platforms.
• Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
• Experience in developing and maintaining visual systems across diverse content channels.
• A solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement in both long-form and short-form video, including variations in delivery across different channels.
• Proven capability to produce high-quality video, static, and motion creative across numerous formats, markets, and languages quickly.
• Ability to shape the creative vision while remaining actively involved in execution.
• Experience managing or directly overseeing at least one designer or creative contributor.
• Familiarity with fast-paced environments with tight deadlines, preferably in live or near-live production settings.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in content-focused environments.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to aligning stakeholders around a shared creative vision.
• Strong design fundamentals, including typography, composition, hierarchy, and color theory.
• High attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities and meet stringent deadlines.
