Art Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take complete creative ownership of graphic design for all social media campaign materials.

• Conceptualize, create mock-ups, and design various ad formats, including single images and carousels.

• Continuously enhance assets through A/B testing and implement improvements based on results.

• Establish and oversee a well-organized pool of freelancers in illustration, motion graphics, UI, and photography.

• Brief external creatives, direct their efforts, and provide structured, actionable feedback.

• Conduct quality assurance on all design materials prior to internal approval and client delivery.

• Create and uphold design guidelines, style manuals, and brand systems.

• Engage in active trend research across brands and competitors to ensure designs remain fresh and pertinent.

• Present concepts to clients and manage feedback in a constructive manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical Art Direction experience, preferably in an agency or a rapidly growing creative team.

• Proven track record in designing social media campaigns with a strong grasp of performance-driving strategies.

• Demonstrated ability to manage networks of freelancers and coordinate external creative resources.

• An excellent eye for quality, consistency, and the subtle details that elevate work from good to exceptional.

• Proficient in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and/or After Effects.

• Familiarity with interaction design, rapid prototyping, and quality assurance workflows.

• Ability to work independently while managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Clear and constructive communication skills in English (German proficiency is a plus).
