Arquiteto de Integrações – APIs, Event-Driven

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Gather and detail integration requirements with business and technical teams

• Define integration strategies (APIs, events, queues, files, etc.)

• Design end-to-end flows (synchronous and asynchronous)

• Establish architectural standards (event-driven, API-led, saga, among others)

• Map and maintain the catalog of integrations and interfaces

• Define API and event contracts (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, versioning, and compatibility)

• Set integration standards (idempotency, retries, circuit breaker, etc.)

• Define security standards (OAuth2, mTLS, JWT, etc.)

• Produce technical artifacts (HLD, LLD, ADRs, and diagrams)

• Conduct Architecture Reviews and support teams in implementation

• Collaborate with Platform, Security, and Engineering teams

• Create and evolve standards, templates, and best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with integration architecture and distributed systems

• Knowledge of APIs (REST/gRPC) and messaging (events/queues)

• Experience in designing contracts and versioning

• Familiarity with integration and resilience patterns

• Experience with technical documentation and architecture

• Ability to interact with multiple teams and stakeholders

• Advanced English proficiency

• Excellent to have

• Experience with API Gateway, ESB, or iPaaS

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture

• Experience with observability and distributed tracing

• Experience in modernizing legacy systems
