This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• The Area Sales Manager serves as the representative of our company to our primary customer – our dealers.
• This position aims to boost the number of funded deals by collaborating with dealers who align well with our goals.
• The Area Sales Manager facilitates growth by identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with dealers in their designated local region.
• Building strong relationships with dealers who recognize how the program can enhance their business growth is essential for success in this role.
• Effectively present and convey the company's products and services to all management levels within both Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person;
• Identify potential sales leads and reach out to these and other assigned accounts;
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from telephone outreach for Independent and Franchise dealers;
• Develop, sustain, and expand current and prospective dealer partnerships within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities;
• Maintain consistent and effective communication, whether through phone calls or in-person meetings, with dealer partners regarding current programs;
• Provide training to dealers on Western Funding, including the necessary documentation for expedited funding of contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Automotive, Finance, and Sales is essential.
• Prior experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a demanding sales role with a proven history of success.
• Clear and effective presentation skills are necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial.
• Familiarity with warm calling, appointment setting, and sales strategies is important.
• Competence in computer skills and adaptability to new technologies is expected.
• Results-driven: ability to accomplish tasks in line with Company objectives.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time for visits to Auto Dealers is required.
• A valid driver's license is necessary for this role, as driving is a core responsibility.
