• Oversee daily operations within the designated region, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives and service expectations.
• Lead and mentor sonographers, promoting a positive and high-performance team environment.
• Conduct ultrasound examinations at least two (2) days per week to maintain clinical proficiency and enhance team collaboration.
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), such as exam volumes, quality metrics, and patient satisfaction levels.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource distribution to maximize efficiency and coverage.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with clinical, administrative, and executive teams to advance strategic initiatives and foster continuous improvement.
• Recognize training needs and facilitate the professional development of team members.
• Current ARDMS or equivalent ultrasound certification is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of clinical ultrasound experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role within a healthcare or imaging services setting is necessary.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multi-site operations is highly preferred.
• Proficient in performing a diverse array of ultrasound examinations.
• Strong understanding of clinical protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with ultrasound technology, PACS, and EMR systems.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams across various locations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities, with a knack for prioritizing and delegating tasks effectively.
• Experience in workforce planning, performance management, and staff development.
• Proficient in analyzing operational data and implementing enhancements to processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
• Willingness and capability to travel within the assigned region.
• Commitment to dedicating two days each week to clinical scanning in the field.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
