Area Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Drive product sales through a team of Experts while enhancing Dyson brand visibility in retail locations.

• Propel sales growth and take ownership of Sell-Out performance within the designated region.

• Analyze weekly sales figures and market trends to uncover opportunities and formulate both short- and long-term strategies.

• Present weekly Sell-Out performance results for the area.

• Lead the management of performance, motivation, and skill development for teams of Experts.

• Conduct regular store visits to mentor and develop the team.

• Facilitate one-on-one meetings, development discussions, on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and training sessions.

• Collaborate with Retail Operations and Activations to ensure exemplary execution.

• Organize in-store training sessions for demonstrators, particularly for new product launches.

• Merchandise retail locations with appropriate point-of-sale materials while maintaining minimum in-store standards.

• Ensure Dyson displays are kept clean, organized, and shopping-friendly.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with store CCOs, department managers, Regional Operational Managers, and key influencers.

• Develop and oversee a virtual team of Dyson Ambassadors among retailer personnel.

• Provide training for Sales Associates, Department Managers, and Store Managers on Dyson products.

• Native proficiency in Dutch.

• Strong commercial focus.

• Exceptional leadership abilities.

• Prior experience in a target-driven environment is essential.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.

• High proficiency in PC skills, encompassing all Microsoft Office applications.

• Outstanding organizational and planning capabilities.

• Self-motivated and a remarkable team player.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Some experience in people management is required.
