This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Lead a high-achieving team managing Pfizer’s Neuroscience (Migraine) and Cardiovascular (NVAF/VTE) portfolios.

• Report directly to the Regional Business Director and work collaboratively with Marketing, Channel, and cross-functional HQ partners.

• Recruit, mentor, develop, and oversee a team of 9–12 representatives.

• Set team objectives, uphold performance standards, and address underperformance issues.

• Foster team engagement, morale, and a culture of continuous improvement.

• Utilize live, virtual, and hybrid coaching techniques to enhance representative skills.

• Design and execute strategic area business plans that align with national and regional priorities.

• Take responsibility for area-level budget management and oversee resource distribution.

• Analyze market data to identify trends, evaluate stakeholders, and anticipate business changes.

• Manage promotional materials and assess field execution in relation to the plan.

• Collaborate with Marketing throughout the operating plan development process.

• Cultivate relationships with KOLs, large group practices, hospitals, and managed care organizations.

• Lead credible, science-driven discussions with customers across both therapeutic areas.

• Identify and pursue key account development opportunities.

• Connect healthcare service providers with channel and HQ partners to meet complex customer needs.

• Guide representatives on how to incorporate digital tools and cross-functional colleagues into customer interactions.

• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and Pfizer policy requirements.

• Maintain knowledge of compliance standards and escalate issues as necessary.

• Operate digital and virtual tools and platforms effectively.

• Implement data-driven resource management across a dual-portfolio area.

• Utilize sales data and reporting software to refine strategies and adjust to advancing technology.

• Travel across representative territories and participate in area and national meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales.

• At least 3–5 years in a proven leadership position among peer and customer groups.

• A valid U.S. driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.

• Any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation in the past 7 years will disqualify a candidate.

• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with peers, coach others, and create significant business impact.

• Experience engaging key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations is preferred.

• An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.

• Over 5 years of people management experience is preferred.

• Specialty sales experience and therapeutic knowledge are strongly preferred.

• Capacity to develop and reinforce team expertise across a broader portfolio with a “Science First” approach.

• Advanced virtual communication skills for customer engagement, team management, and remote collaboration.

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

• Proficiency in interpreting sales data and reporting applications, adapting to evolving technology platforms.

• Demonstrated strategic thinking and precise execution skills.

• Strong collaborative, motivational leadership, and internal stakeholder management capabilities.

• Ability to think enterprise-wide and anticipate downstream consequences.

• Excellent facilitation skills.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.

• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
