Arborist Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Manually clearing vegetation from designated work areas.

• Safely operating a range of forestry machinery, including woodchippers, hydraulic equipment, and chainsaws.

• Conducting line clearance, pruning tasks, and tree removals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to work 45 hours each week.

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification.

• A current and valid driver's license along with reliable transportation is required.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Physical capability to meet the job's demands (e.g., walking on uneven terrain, lifting 75 lbs).

• Willingness to work at heights of up to 75 feet.

• Open to learning how to operate a bucket truck and use equipment safely.

• Commitment to obtaining a Class 3 license.

• Must achieve First Aid and WHIMIS certifications.

• Willingness to acquire and maintain necessary licenses and certifications to advance your career.

• Ability to successfully complete a post-offer physical examination, drug screening, along with a background and motor vehicle check.
