AR Resolution Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review unpaid and denied claims to ascertain reasons for discrepancies

• Engage directly with commercial and governmental payers concerning outstanding claims

• Submit appeals and ensure prompt reimbursement

• Identify specific reasons for denials and causes for payment delays

• Collaborate with management to identify, analyze, and address the root causes of accounts receivable issues

• Maintain awareness of federal and state regulations along with payer-specific requirements

• Accurately document activities, including contact names, addresses, phone numbers, and other relevant information

• Provide recommendations and communicate trends and issues to management

• Resolve accounts utilizing problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

• Achieve productivity and quality benchmarks

• Execute additional duties as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma

• Basic computer skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Problem-solving abilities and capacity to develop collection action plans

• Critical-thinking skills and the ability to apply payment-securing tools to various accounts

• Flexibility to adapt to changing procedures and a growing environment

• Capability to switch between multiple computer systems and information sources

• Ability to multitask while being detail-oriented

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Ability to work independently with a problem-solving approach

• Preferred 1–3 years of relevant experience in medical collections or professional billing

• Knowledge of claims review and analysis

• Familiarity with revenue cycle processes

• Working knowledge of medical terminology and/or insurance claim terminology

• Experience with the Imagine billing system is preferred
