AR Representative II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated corporate accounts and ensure prompt collection of outstanding balances.

• Review aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices through email and phone communications.

• Foster strong relationships with B2B clients to facilitate seamless payment processes.

• Assess write-offs on a monthly basis and for small amounts.

• Accurately apply customer payments, adjustments, and credit memos.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and disputes.

• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Account Executive, Customer Service, and Finance) to address AR-related issues.

• Provide recommendations to the Supervisor regarding the collection of overdue accounts.

• Supply clients with copies of invoices, statements, and payment confirmations upon request.

• Maintain precise customer records, collection notes, and account histories within the system.

• Compile weekly and monthly AR reports for review by the Account Executive.

• Investigate returned mail and bank correspondence (e.g., short and over-payments).

• Independently manage accounts receivable and escalations.

• Offer payment research and credit validation support as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Finance (corporate/B2B experience is essential).

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; familiarity with Gaviti is an advantage!

• Capacity to prioritize tasks, work autonomously, and meet deadlines.

• Must be deadline-oriented, organized, possess good time management skills, and pay attention to detail.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

• Problem-solving skills are crucial for daily tasks.

• Must be flexible, a team player, and able to collaborate with all management levels.

• Availability to work during CST or EST hours is required.
