This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Evaluate appraisals of residential properties with 1β4 units across the country for quality, report content, collateral risk factors, and adherence to FIRREA, USPAP, and Interagency guidelines.
β’ Perform comprehensive logical reviews of appraisals, review products, and supplementary data to determine quality, value support, and compliance with regulations.
β’ Investigate public records and other data sources to confirm valuation-product data and opinions.
β’ Create detailed written review documentation utilizing internal review forms.
β’ Address discrepancies with appraisal vendors and request necessary corrections or additional information.
β’ Collaborate with appraisal vendors, internal staff involved in origination, processing, and underwriting, as well as other clients to streamline valuation-product processing and review.
β’ Support management with additional tasks and projects as assigned.
β’ High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
β’ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is preferred.
β’ Certified Residential Appraiser license is required; FHA approval is preferred.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of combined field and desk appraisal experience or its equivalent is necessary.
β’ Current Residential Certified license in good standing is required.
β’ National or regional review experience is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with appraisal practices and the forms utilized in completing appraisals.
β’ Proficient understanding of FIRREA, USPAP, and the Interagency Guidelines.
β’ Strong analytical skills are essential.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, and internal valuation tools/applications.
β’ Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
β’ Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflow in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
β’ Consistent work attendance is expected, along with the ability to meet the stated physical demands, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 10 pounds.
