Applied AI Scientist – PhD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and create LLM-based solutions focused on NLP, document intelligence, semantic search, and data extraction.

• Develop and enhance prompt strategies, retrieval-augmented generation systems, and fine-tuned models.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into customer-facing workflows.

• Establish evaluation pipelines and benchmarks to assess accuracy, performance, and robustness.

• Keep abreast of new research developments and swiftly test promising techniques in real-world applications.

• Function as both a researcher and a builder, taking direct responsibility for the viability of ideas when confronted with actual data.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or a related discipline.

• Solid research experience with publications in prestigious AI forums such as NeurIPS, ACL, ICML, or EMNLP.

• Practical experience with LLMs, transformers, embeddings, or neural information retrieval.

• Expertise in Python and machine learning tools such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, and LangChain.

• Proven history of implementing research in practical, production-focused systems.

• Strong technical insight into what is innovative, useful, and ready for deployment.
