Applied AI Engineer – AI Neobank App

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop workflows, assistants, agents, and automation systems powered by AI.

• Implement AI technologies in customer support, CRM, onboarding, claims, renewals, payments, operations, and internal tools.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to transform manual processes into scalable, AI-native systems.

• Create integrations with LLMs, internal data sources, APIs, documents, knowledge bases, and business systems.

• Design evaluation, monitoring, and fallback processes to ensure AI outputs are effective, safe, and dependable.

• Rapidly prototype, gather feedback from users or operators, and then productionize successful solutions.

• Enhance the speed, quality, and consistency of workflows by utilizing AI in areas that deliver tangible business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid foundation in software engineering, preferably with experience in Python and backend systems.

• Practical experience in working with LLM APIs, agents, RAG, workflow automation, or AI tools.

• Capability to connect AI systems with actual products, data, and operational workflows.

• Strong judgment on when AI is beneficial versus when rule-based systems or human oversight are more effective.

• Understanding of evaluation metrics, accuracy, latency, costs, privacy considerations, and failure modes.

• Quick builder who can prototype, test, and deploy functional systems efficiently.

• Background in fintech, insurance, support automation, CRM, or operations automation is a significant advantage.
