Applied AI Agent Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and development of workflows for AI agents and components powered by LLMs.

• Create and evaluate prompt strategies, retrieval processes, tool-use logic, orchestration patterns, and backend integrations.

• Help establish evaluation metrics, conduct benchmarks, and analyze cases of failure.

• Enhance system performance in terms of quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

• Utilize AI coding tools routinely in your workflow to expedite development and address challenges.

• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to gain insights into the design, deployment, and enhancement of production AI systems.

• Participate in the development of backend services, APIs, internal tools, or lightweight user interfaces as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Anticipated graduation in 2026 or 2027.

• Proficient in programming with Python or Java; experience in backend engineering is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with APIs, debugging, and data manipulation.

• Deep interest in LLMs, AI agents, automation, and practical system design.

• Capable of dissecting ambiguous problems and progressing from concept to functional prototype.

• Quick learner, adaptable to a dynamic work environment.

• Available for a full-time commitment of 6 months.
