Applications Support Analyst – Health Plan

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Provides routine support for healthcare information systems and applications.

• Applies analytical skills and experience to investigate or elevate support issues.

• Addresses incidents and fulfills service requests.

• Aids in the development and upkeep of training documentation.

• Employs suitable presentation techniques to facilitate or lead training sessions.

• Conducts research, analysis, and offers recommendations for improving application workflows.

• Generates and assesses reports produced through various reporting tools.

• Collects, analyzes, designs, develops, modifies, tests, implements, evaluates, and maintains information technologies to meet business requirements.

• Encourages and engages in a collaborative team environment.

• Collaborates with other departments and external vendors.

• Comfortable with change management and possesses strong problem-solving abilities.

• Manages time effectively and prioritizes daily tasks.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• A positive demeanor and outstanding customer service skills are anticipated.

• Capable of communicating diplomatically across integrated teams.

• Strong interpersonal skills are required.

• Proficiency in software applications such as word processors, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software is essential.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

• A focus in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• At least one year of relevant experience in application support, hardware, or interface is preferred.

• If applicable, an Information Technology (IT) certification must be obtained within six months of hire and within three attempts at certification testing.
