This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver expert-level assistance to customers and channel partners by resolving technical issues related to Mastercam products.
• Assess customer workflows and suggest customized solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Act as a technical resource for escalated customer inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
• Work in conjunction with product management and development teams to relay customer feedback and insights for product improvements.
• Evaluate and validate new product features, ensuring they are compatible and user-friendly in practical applications.
• Keep abreast of the latest Mastercam releases, industry developments, and competitive offerings to uphold technical proficiency.
• Support sales teams with pre-sales initiatives, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proofs of concept (PoC).
• Engage with customers post-sale to guarantee successful implementation and adoption of Mastercam solutions.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance customer workflows and propose advanced techniques or tools.
• Create custom toolpaths, templates, and macros tailored to specific customer needs.
• Share best practices and innovative strategies within the Mastercam user community.
• Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, technical solutions, and best practices.
• Produce knowledge base articles and technical documentation to assist Mastercam users.
• Provide regular updates to management on customer trends, technical difficulties, and areas for potential improvement.
• Collaborate with the Global Training Center to conduct training sessions, both in-person and online, for customers, channel partners, and internal teams on Mastercam products and best practices.
• Create and revise technical training materials, user guides, and tutorials.
• Perform hands-on demonstrations to highlight product features and applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in CAD/CAM programming, manufacturing, or applications engineering.
• Practical experience with Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software is essential.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, machining processes, and tooling is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Mastercam and familiarity with other CAD/CAM tools.
• Strong grasp of manufacturing processes, including milling, turning, and multi-axis machining.
• Experience with simulation software and post-processor customization is advantageous.
