Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Provide prompt technical assistance and address inquiries from North American distributor sales teams and customers.

• Conduct product training sessions for distributors and channel partners.

• Suggest and facilitate the design-in of power supply solutions tailored to customer needs.

• Carry out basic electrical testing and validation for customer-specific applications as required.

• Diagnose application issues related to integration, EMI/EMC, and thermal performance.

• Serve as the primary or secondary technical liaison with suppliers in Asia, supporting the North American market.

• Collaborate with North America Applications Engineering to address technical inquiries and customer issues.

• Document the technical aspects of customer interactions and customized solutions in the company's CRM system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or a related discipline.

• Approximately 5 years of experience in power electronics or power supply applications.

• Strong grasp of AC/DC and DC/DC conversion principles.

• Experience in a technical role supporting customers or distributor sales teams.

• Proficiency in hands-on electrical testing (oscilloscope, DMM, electronic loads, etc.) is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with digital communication protocols (e.g., PMBus, I²C) is beneficial.

• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal), including the ability to conduct training sessions.

• Willingness to work US hours and collaborate with teams across different time zones.
