This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Align technological solutions with business strategies.
• Actively identify opportunities to integrate technologies into business processes.
• Advise and inform clients regarding the functionalities, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements of information system technologies.
• Serve as the technical liaison and intermediary for services among various vendors.
• Function as an internal consultant, offering technical insights or business process expertise on complex projects.
• Conduct research on strategic planning issues from both technical and business perspectives.
• Build and sustain credibility and effective working relationships with customer management and IT personnel.
• Exhibit a comprehension of business challenges alongside IT strategies, issues, and priorities.
• Pursue opportunities to utilize technology for enhancing business processes in alignment with strategic system objectives.
• Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) Certification is mandatory.
• An associate's degree is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business application design, development, and installation, or a substantial healthcare background with proven capabilities in application areas.
• Familiarity with the products and processes of the assigned business area.
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a manner comprehensible to the business.
• Understanding of project management principles for planning and executing multiple projects within a cross-functional setting.
• Excellent written communication abilities, including project documentation and technical writing.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Robust analytical and conceptual skills, with a proven history of developing new concepts for various projects and intricate technical plans.
• Capability to resolve issues that often span multiple environments within a business area.
• Awareness of how IT influences an organization and the ability to connect it with redefined business processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively; adaptable, friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement is preferred, involving comprehensive information systems and utilizing tools and techniques to drive business transformation.
• Experience in the strategic application of technology to manage and expand a business.
• Proven experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from conception to implementation, involving internal staff, contractors, and vendors.
• Knowledge of HL7 is an advantage.
