This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

• Design and create sophisticated software solutions

• Spearhead technical projects

• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to improve products and platforms

• Assess, implement, and guide the adoption of AI/ML capabilities to expedite the modification and development of existing and new products

• Collaborate with product, QA, and data teams to outline requirements and ensure consistency on AI feature functionality

• Collect and analyze user requirements into design specifications

• Develop new features and functionalities, along with software enhancements and/or resolutions for production issues

• Engage in or facilitate structured code reviews and walkthroughs

• Provide on-call support as necessary

• Proficient in J2EE application development, covering front-end, back-end, and middle-tier components

• Familiarity with various design patterns

• Experience with third-party middleware tools used in application design

• Expertise in creating, consuming, and implementing web services

• In-depth knowledge of web and application servers

• Coding experience with Spring modules

• Mandatory web application development experience using Struts modules

• Web Services familiarity, including top-down and bottom-up implementation with JAXWS

• Proficient in Oracle SQL

• Required experience with Application Servers such as JBOSS, along with Deployment Management

• Scripting experience (using Shell, Groovy, etc.)

• Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems and Shell scripting

• Operational understanding of browser-based application infrastructure in a clustered hardware environment

• Familiarity with a modern welfare eligibility case management system, ideally with hands-on experience with Idaho's Medicaid Eligibility
