This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Collaborate with various technology teams to ensure effective integration of functions to achieve objectives.
• Identify and outline necessary system enhancements; assess existing system logic, pinpoint issues; propose and implement solutions.
• Offer expertise in the area and possess an advanced understanding of application support principles.
• Formulate and delineate systems scope and objectives for intricate, high-impact application enhancements and problem resolution through thorough analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems, and industry standards.
• Document requirements and work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Systems Analysts to ascertain system impacts and support requirements.
• Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security concerns; communicate potential impacts; suggest risk mitigation strategies.
• Serve as an advisor or mentor to junior or less experienced analysts; manage workload distribution.
• Conduct extensive analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and devise innovative solutions.
• Directly influence the business by impacting strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel, or provided services.
• Over 10 years of proven and practical experience in a production support role managing enterprise-level applications.
• Demonstrated experience with SRE practices, including advanced monitoring, alerting, incident response, post-mortems, and driving automation for operational efficiency and system reliability.
• Deep expertise in Unix/Linux environments and advanced Shell scripting skills.
• Proficient with enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., ITRS Geneos, AppDynamics) and log aggregation platforms (e.g., Splunk, ELK).
• Practical experience with containerization platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Strong knowledge of messaging solutions (e.g., Tibco EMS, MQ, Kafka).
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of distributed application architecture, including networks, load balancers, storage, and authentication (AD/LDAP).
• Working knowledge and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and principles.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, models, and tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to convey complex technical issues to diverse technical and business audiences.
