Application Support – Software Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Support users, business clients, and internal stakeholders with inquiries and issues related to our web and mobile applications.

• Evaluate new features and bug fixes; assist in error identification and promote continuous application enhancement.

• Record requests and error reports in our ticketing system.

• Manage known or simpler cases independently.

• Document defects along with the steps necessary to reproduce them.

• Prepare incoming cases for further processing by the development or analysis teams.

• Conduct manual testing of new features and bug fixes, and perform re-tests to support testing documentation.

• Maintain documentation of known issues and their resolutions for our knowledge base.

• Collaborate closely with development, QA, business analysis, and specialist teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in manual software testing, application support, or technical customer assistance.

• Ability to systematically investigate issues while maintaining attention to detail.

• Interest in software, APIs, or technical systems.

• Some experience in software testing, or a willingness to systematically test new features, bug fixes, and standard user workflows.

• Solid foundational technical understanding.

• Familiarity with ticketing systems.

• Experience with Jira or Jira Service Management is an advantage.

• Clear and dependable communication in German, with good proficiency in English.
