Application Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provides technical leadership and is accountable for establishing the direction of the IT architecture, standards, design, and implementation strategies for the organization's application systems.

• Develops, assesses, and executes plans and design proposals for impactful IT solutions.

• Responsible for managing enterprise application and software security standards, while advocating for their application and enhancement in both new and existing solutions.

• Offers architectural and design advice for critical enterprise-wide projects and strategic initiatives concerning information security and privacy.

• Advocates for Secure Software Development practices among development teams.

• Leads and facilitates secure software development training and awareness sessions for development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• A post-graduate degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems is preferred.

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in a related field is necessary.

• Expertise in designing and implementing a Secure SDLC program for a large enterprise is essential.

• Proven knowledge and experience in establishing secure development practices within CI-CD/DevOps processes.

• Familiarity with identifying and mitigating cybersecurity vulnerabilities within internally developed LLM, GenAI, and Agentic AI models.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating across security domains, including Identity and Access Management, Cloud Security, Data Security, and Application Security.

• Strong grasp of secure software development practices and technologies, encompassing vulnerability detection, identification, and remediation.

• Experience leading teams in application development.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java or C#.

• Understanding of SOA, including REST, SOAP, API Management, and other integration patterns like ESB and EIP.

• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies.
