Application Lead – ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and deliver the roadmap for the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Common Service Data Model (CSDM), ensuring they meet business and customer requirements.

• Serve as the technical expert for the configuration data structure, classification, and integration throughout the organization.

• Oversee platform configuration, administration, and release management for both Business As Usual (BAU) and project initiatives.

• Design and refine CMDB schema, data models, and workflows according to industry best practices.

• Enhance process efficiency through automation, performance optimization, and leveraging out-of-the-box functionalities.

• Plan and implement release cycles, including upgrades, enhancements, testing, and documentation.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders from both business and technical teams to gather requirements and develop scalable solutions.

• Act as the primary point of contact with ServiceNow partners and managed service providers.

• Facilitate the onboarding of new teams and acquisitions onto the platform, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and release management.

• In-depth knowledge of CMDB, including schema design, data modeling, and governance principles.

• Strong grasp of CSDM principles and best practices.

• Proven experience in designing and optimizing enterprise workflows and enhancing platform performance.

• Excellent stakeholder management abilities, capable of communicating technical concepts in a business-friendly manner.

• Experience in managing third-party vendors and ensuring successful delivery outcomes.

• Analytical mindset focused on data architecture and continuous improvement.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist (Discovery) credentials.

• Solid understanding of ITIL and best practices in configuration management.
