Application Integration Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of application interfaces, APIs (including REST, GraphQL, and SOAP), middleware, and hybrid integration solutions.

• Oversee the administration, configuration, and management of the complete GoAnywhere MFT platform, which includes workflows, remote agents, security, key management, monitoring, and high availability setups.

• Create and sustain automated, secure file transfer processes (such as SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS, etc.).

• Collaborate with Microsoft Azure services to enhance integration and file transfer solutions within hybrid environments.

• Utilize or engage with Azure resources, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Logic Apps, Azure Storage, Key Vault, and various networking components.

• Administer Windows and Linux servers (both on-premise and within Azure), focusing on installation, patching, monitoring, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high availability.

• Leverage knowledge of network infrastructure in both traditional and Azure settings (including VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN/ExpressRoute, firewalls, etc.).

• Resolve connectivity, performance, and security challenges impacting interfaces and MFT processes.

• Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and ensure the delivery of secure, compliant, and reliable solutions.

• Establish best practices for integrations, MFT, server management, and hybrid cloud environments to drive governance and innovation.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires 8 years of experience in software development, integrations, or infrastructure, including at least 3 years in a technical lead capacity, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Substantial hands-on experience with GoAnywhere MFT is essential.

• Expertise in administration, workflow design, agent management, security configuration, and troubleshooting within GoAnywhere MFT.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform and its core services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, networking, and security services).

• Proficient in managing Windows and Linux servers in both on-premise and cloud environments.

• Strong understanding of networking principles across traditional and Azure environments.

• Experience in API design/development and utilizing integration platforms.

• Programming/scripting capabilities in languages such as Java, Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.

• Knowledge of security, encryption, certificates, and compliance considerations in hybrid environments.
