This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Offer technical leadership for Solar and Storage proposals.
• Ensure the timely completion of technical proposals, which include costing, scheduling, and evaluation of technical risks, in line with submission deadlines.
• Review customer specifications and standards, focusing on grid compliance, cybersecurity, and other technical requirements.
• Identify and document any deviations, clarifications, or exceptions related to GE Vernova standard platforms.
• Collaborate with product development teams to evaluate the feasibility of specific customer requests and their impact on costs and schedules.
• Convert customer requirements into suitable technical solutions tailored to their specific use cases.
• Create technical proposals that include reference architecture, risk matrices, a list of features and accessories, and estimates for project engineering work.
• Lead the creation and revision of product technical-commercial documentation in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist sales teams during technical presentations to customers, adopting a service-oriented and value-focused approach.
• Complete technical questionnaires from customers and respond to requests for information.
• Maintain proactive communication regarding progress, obstacles, and risks to the proposal team members.
• Present proposed solutions to management, emphasizing expected performance and associated risks.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Engineering degree, Master's, or equivalent qualification in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical role.
• Strong understanding of BESS systems and the associated grid code requirements.
• Proficient in analyzing complex technical requirements and devising suitable solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating within international teams.
• Capability to manage multiple interfaces and thrive in a dynamic environment.
