Application Engineer – SAP FI/CO, Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Help shape the future of our SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment!

• As an Application Engineer within our Technology Enablement team, you will play a crucial role in the deployment of our SAP Public Cloud ecosystem and be an integral member of our implementation team.

• You will also be tasked with supporting various central business tools such as HubSpot, Monday, Jira, DMS, and other SaaS platforms.

• Lead the implementation of our SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud with an emphasis on FI/CO and key interactions with Procurement.

• Configure and continually enhance SAP processes with a proactive approach to operations and changes.

• Develop and manage integrations through SAP BTP, APIs, and webhooks.

• Assume responsibility for selected central SaaS tools (e.g., Jira, Monday, HubSpot, DMS) and refine end-to-end workflows.

• Ensure dependable operations through monitoring, releases, and 2nd/3rd level support.

• Identify and execute automation/AI use cases (e.g., smarter ticket triage, quicker root-cause analysis, enhanced documentation).

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in SAP FI/CO, encompassing implementation and application operations.

• Strong integration expertise: SAP BTP (e.g., Integration Suite/CPI), APIs, and IDoc, with the ability to troubleshoot end-to-end interfaces.

• Hands-on, inquisitive attitude towards cloud/SaaS tools; you are driven to continuously expand your skill set.

• AI-enabled work style: employs AI to enhance efficiency and quality in SAP analysis, configuration, and documentation.

• You take initiative, deconstruct complex issues, and guide problems to resolution—end to end.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage.
