
Application Engineer – Power Conversion Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversees the provision of technical sales assistance to ensure successful integration of the organization’s products for customers.
• Engages in pre-sales activities to understand the customer’s business and assess their system and product requirements.
• Manages the development and delivery of technical proposals demonstrating how the organization’s products can fulfill those requirements and be integrated with the customer’s systems and equipment.
• Prepares and presents a comprehensive customer systems and equipment needs plan to internal teams to guarantee that the entire plan is feasible considering cost, time, and environmental constraints.
• A university degree is required (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a collaborative team player capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, with a proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including presentation abilities.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management capabilities to achieve desired outcomes.
• High personal and professional ethical standards and integrity.
• Holds oneself accountable for meeting goals and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Possesses strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and/or external customers.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for up to approximately 60% of the time.
• Demonstrated experience and strong working knowledge of power electronics.
• Familiarity with CRM tools; experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Knowledge of rectifiers, power systems, and/or applications in the defense industry is an advantage.
