This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, developers, and integrators involved in testing, programming, and deploying robotic systems.
• Provide consultation, propose solutions, and address objections to navigate technical and operational hurdles.
• Respond to technical inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to product functionality and integration, while also facilitating product demonstrations.
• Develop and document proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to assist clients in assessing Mecademic robots for their specific applications.
• Offer expert advice and support on our robotic technology to help clients maximize the effectiveness of their projects.
• Conduct training sessions to empower customers in utilizing the robots proficiently.
• Utilize CRM tools to oversee customer relationships.
• Travel across the European region to represent Mecademic at trade shows, partner events, and customer locations.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar position, preferably within the robotics or automation sector.
• Proficiency in both German and English is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of industrial automation.
• Strong grasp of industrial automation principles, including robot kinematics, controllers, sensors, and safety systems.
• Competency in CAD software for mechanical and electrical design (e.g., SolidWorks).
• Familiarity with robot simulators and PLCs is highly advantageous.
• Robust programming skills, particularly in Python, along with practical experience using APIs and version control systems (e.g., Git) are highly preferred.
• Customer-oriented mindset combined with a collaborative approach for cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience in organizing logistics for technical events or equipment deployments is considered a plus.
