Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Offers technical knowledge and expertise to sales representatives, resellers, and clients throughout the sales process.

• Accountable for developing and utilizing a suite of software tools aimed at enhancing the accuracy, completeness, and punctuality of Quotations, Orders, and Order Changes.

• Presales Support: Collaborate with sales to design technical solutions for clients and introduce the system alongside sales efforts.

• After-sales Support: Oversee product installation and training for clients, providing follow-up for ongoing technical assistance.

• Dealers’ Technical Management: Act as the technical liaison between X-Rite and designated partners, ensuring a thorough understanding and maintenance of all technical aspects related to the partner.

• Dealers’ Technical Support: Partner with management to train the sales teams at each partner location to ensure they are confident in selling the products and workflows.

• Management of Large Accounts and Technical Support for End Users.

• Support for Marketing Activities: Engage in Trade Shows, Webinars, etc.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Color Science or a related discipline (e.g., Chemical, Materials Science, etc.).

• 3–5 years of experience in Printing and Packaging Technology or related industrial fields such as Coating, Textile, Ink & Paint (Color Management), etc.

• Proven experience in pre-sales and after-sales support, which includes product demonstrations, installation, user training, and technical support, or a comparable customer-facing technical position.

• Capability to manage and support distributors or partners, incorporating technical training and relationship management.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.

• Capacity to work autonomously (Remote position).

• Willingness to travel to client sites and partner locations as necessary.

• Proficiency in Thai and good English communication skills (listening, reading, writing, and speaking).
