Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Install and provide training on Datacolor equipment, including color matching software and quality control software, at customer locations in the EMA region, with a focus on Germany.

• Offer telephone, email, and web-based support to resolve color-related issues at client sites.

• Support the sales team by showcasing software solutions to prospective clients and assisting them in achieving their desired outcomes.

• Help organize color seminars, customer training events, and webinars, and gradually present to larger audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in the color management industry (Textile, Paint, Ink, Chemicals, Pigments, Plastic, Printing, or a similar field).

• Fluent in both German and English; proficiency in other EU languages is an advantage.

• Skilled in Windows software and CRM tools (experience with Salesforce.com is a plus).

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

• A team player who can also work independently.

• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities.

• Experience with Color Matching and Quality Control systems is advantageous.

• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Sybase, SQL, Citrix, and terminal server applications.
