Application Developer/Manager – Digital Provider Collaboration Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a Qlik Cloud/QlikSense developer and administrator, proficient in generating reports, dashboards, and extracts through transformation using multi-layered backend data models alongside front-end dashboards or reports utilizing the Qlik technology platform (or similar).

• Create intricate healthcare applications and NPrinting reports.

• Tailor scrambling techniques for various QlikSense applications.

• Assess and comprehend functions to be automated, as well as business needs, objectives, desired features, and both input and output requirements.

• Review, define, and document system requirements concerning data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environments, interactions with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.

• Perform data preparation within upstream data sources.

• Evaluate feasibility, time, and compatibility with other systems and computer capabilities.

• Analyze, assist with installations, and test upgrades for internally and externally developed application programs.

• Design and create programs/processes that automate specific business functions by collaborating with various business units/departments to fulfill requirements.

• Develop and sustain plans detailing steps and timelines for the development, testing, and installation of applications.

• Design and code screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.

• Contribute insights on proposing, assessing, and selecting suitable design alternatives that align with client needs and adhere to the client's current standards and processes.

• Engage with business stakeholders for any clarifications necessary during the development phase.

• Draft and maintain functional and technical specifications.

• Transform designs and specifications into code.

• Create and maintain documentation outlining program development, logic, coding, testing, modifications, and corrections.

• Compose documentation or review materials created by others that detail installation and operating procedures.

• Utilize Agile-based project management tools such as VersionOne/Agility.

• Generate test scenarios and collaborate with the QA team to execute tests to identify errors and verify that the program meets specifications.

• Analyze code to determine the root causes of errors and adjust programs accordingly.

• Consult with the business to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to achieve client approval.

• Provide technical support by addressing inquiries regarding errors, issues, or questions related to the program.

• Educate end users or technical support staff on program usage.

• Monitor program performance following implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Six (6) years of experience in the offered position or in a Senior Application Developer-related role.

• Four (4) years of experience in designing and developing Qlik-based dashboards/reports in QlikSense, dealing with high data volumes.

• One (1) year of experience in designing and developing cloud-based Qlik dashboards/reports involving high volumes of data.

• Four (4) years of experience in developing reports through NPrinting while supporting and maintaining as a Qlik/NPrinting Admin in QlikSense.

• Three (3) years of experience ensuring optimal data extracts using SQL queries.

• Three (3) years of experience optimizing Qlik applications.

• Four (4) years of experience applying agile delivery principles for estimation and delivery.
