Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop desktop applications primarily targeting Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Employ object-oriented design principles and showcase expertise in C/C++ programming.

• Design graphical user interfaces (GUI) utilizing tools such as Visual Studio .Net 2019, VS Code, or Eclipse.

• Implement functionalities for hardware interaction, including RS-232, Ethernet, and USB protocols.

• Facilitate client-server communication protocols to ensure seamless interaction between components.

• Manage file-handling processes and integrate database functionalities within applications.

• Construct Win-32/MFC-based DLLs to establish a modular and scalable application architecture.

• Incorporate Open Street Maps (OSM) into applications while ensuring compatibility.

• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.

• Maintain code quality, ensure maintainability, and optimize performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2 to 6 years of pertinent experience in desktop application development.

• Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.

• Familiarity with development environments such as Visual Studio .Net 2019, VS Code, or Eclipse.

• Experience in creating graphical user interfaces (GUI) using tools like MFC and GDI+.

• Strong comprehension of client-server communication protocols.

• Experience with hardware interactions, including RS-232, Ethernet, and USB.

• Knowledge of database utilization and file handling operations.

• Experience in constructing Win-32/MFC-based DLLs.

• Familiarity with Open Street Maps (OSM) and geographic information systems (GIS) is advantageous.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
