Application Architect, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create and develop scalable, robust, and high-performance system architectures utilizing Python.

• Establish and uphold best practices in software architecture, coding standards, and system design.

• Spearhead the integration of AI/LLM solutions into both existing and new systems.

• Design and supervise the implementation of high-load web applications leveraging core AWS/Azure services.

• Make critical decisions regarding cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), scalability, and data processing strategies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.

• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.

• Evaluate and enhance system performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Engage in code reviews and uphold high-quality coding standards.

• Keep informed on emerging technologies and lead innovation within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Software Architect position.

• Prior hands-on experience as a Python Developer.

• Extensive expertise in Python and backend system design.

• Practical experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.

• Demonstrated experience designing scalable distributed systems.

• In-depth knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, and RESTful services.

• Experience with data processing and ETL pipelines.

• Strong understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns.

• Proficient in Git and modern development workflows.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.

• Experience with AI/ML systems, NLP, and LLM integrations.

• Familiarity with OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, PyTorch, or similar technologies.
