This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Evaluates clinical, business, and/or technical processes and challenges.
• Develops and proposes recommendations for new and revised systems.
• Offers technical expertise in the identification, assessment, and development of systems.
• Collaborates with departments to determine and prioritize development initiatives.
• Analyzes workflow and suggests appropriate solutions.
• Converts departmental requests into business functional requirements.
• Conducts financial analysis, business planning, and impact assessments.
• Assists internal customers across various functional areas.
• Oversees system upgrades and manages small projects.
• Creates an implementation timeline and ensures all necessary steps are taken to resolve outstanding issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a business, computer science, or clinical environment.
• CPHIMS certification is preferred.
• Preferred knowledge of SQL databases.
• Familiarity with project management software, concepts, and tracking skills is preferred.
• Working knowledge of healthcare software applications is preferred.
• Skills in Perl, Java, XML, Linux, and Apache are preferred.
• Knowledge of HL7 is preferred.
