This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Acquire the foundational skills for Appian low-code application development and business process automation.
• Observe seasoned consultants to gain practical insights into the design, development, and implementation of Appian solutions.
• Aid in the development of Appian applications, workflows, interfaces, reports, and business processes under the mentorship of senior developers.
• Engage in application testing, quality assurance, and the resolution of defects.
• Assist with the integration and configuration of Appian applications within enterprise systems.
• Investigate Appian best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends, presenting findings to the team.
• Create and update technical documentation, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies, team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and collaborative problem-solving activities.
• Develop training materials and resources to facilitate end-user adoption.
• Continuously enhance your technical knowledge while honing consulting, communication, and presentation skills.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration in a team setting.
• Highly organized with remarkable attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic about learning new technologies.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, or professional experiences.
• A passion for software development, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts (Preferred).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, or others (Preferred).
• Knowledge of databases, web technologies, or software development methodologies (Preferred).
• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments is an advantage (Preferred).
• Resides in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (Preferred).
