This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.
• Develop polished, engaging, and lightweight animations, VFX, trails, transitions, and feedback effects.
• Enhance impactful moments, destruction, combos, speed, rhythm, and momentum-based feedback.
• Utilize Unity to implement and refine animations and effects directly.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure visual appeal while maintaining optimization.
• Improve readability, timing, tactile satisfaction, and the overall feel of the game.
• Optimize effects for mobile performance, considering draw calls, overdraw, particle counts, materials, batching, texture sizes, and GPU cost.
• Iterate swiftly based on product direction, player behavior, and A/B test insights.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance the game's visual quality and player experience.
• Proven experience as an Animator or Technical Artist in mobile gaming.
• Solid hands-on experience with Unity.
• Strong understanding of Unity's animation and particle systems.
• Keen eye for game feel, timing, rhythm, readability, polish, and tactile satisfaction.
• Experience in creating effects for fast-paced gameplay, including impact, destruction, combo, speed, rhythm, or momentum-based mechanics.
• Strong performance-focused mindset for mobile applications.
• Ability to balance creativity, quality, and efficiency.
• Proficient communication skills in English.
• Nice to have:
• Knowledge of shaders.
• Familiarity with tween systems.
• 3D modeling skills.
• Experience in enhancing an existing live game.
• Experience working in small, independent teams.
