Android/Linux Kernel Security Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Assist in developing and executing the research strategy for the Android team through vulnerability research, code auditing, and exploit development focused on the Android kernel.

• Offer impartial insights and innovative ideas to the research team.

• Create proof-of-concept code and exploits that meet DFSEC's quality standards.

• Stay informed about various developments related to Android and the Linux kernel, including security mitigations and new updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with Android architecture and its internal workings.

• Strong grasp of current bug classes and patterns.

• In-depth understanding of existing and forthcoming security mitigations.

• Capability to undertake long-term and extensive security research projects as part of a collaborative team effort.

• Some experience in kernel exploitation.

• Proficient written communication skills in English.
