This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design, configure, maintain, and enhance clinical and ancillary healthcare applications along with reporting solutions.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for assigned third-party clinical applications and manage vendor relationships.
• Convert operational and clinical business requirements into functional system configurations and technical solutions.
• Configure, test, implement, and support application enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and efforts to resolve defects.
• Monitor, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents and support tickets, ensuring compliance with change management procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Epic, clinical, technical, and training teams, to support integrated workflows and maintain data integrity.
• Design and uphold healthcare integration solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and meet operational requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, workflows, testing plans, and system support procedures.
• Conduct complex systems analysis, workflow analysis, and data validation activities.
• Develop and execute detailed testing plans to ensure successful implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Address reporting and data analysis needs related to operational, technical, business, and compliance initiatives.
• Lead or participate in small-to-medium-scale projects, taking on technical ownership and accountability.
• Assist with application and integration initiatives associated with acquisitions, ambulatory growth, clinic openings, and operational expansion efforts.
• Engage directly with vendors regarding support escalations, upgrades, interfaces, and ongoing optimization efforts.
• Provide end-user support both remotely and on-site as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in supporting Epic or similar healthcare clinical application systems.
• Experience in supporting healthcare application integrations and workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and systems analysis skills.
• Experience collaborating with vendors, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Excellent organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
