📋 Description

• The Analytics Manager is responsible for the comprehensive planning, analysis, documentation, and execution of business requirements for intricate operational data requests, serving as a strategic liaison between data architecture and business stakeholders.

• This role involves delegating reporting tasks among team members and ensuring that the team adheres to weekly and monthly deadlines for report delivery to the business. The Analytics Manager exemplifies leadership in sales analytics, promoting productivity, innovative thinking, efficiency, teamwork, and professionalism.

• Additionally, the Analytics Manager provides training and support to foster strong relationships among team members.

• MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide managerial support to the analytics team members.

• Offer constructive feedback on team members for initial and annual reviews, as well as for performance improvements and coaching.

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and proactive working relationship with all colleagues and project team members.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of development plans and assist employees in maximizing learning opportunities.

• Allocate projects to team members based on requests, skill sets, and availability, while monitoring execution to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.

• Oversee and participate in the interpretation and analysis of data.

• Develop and maintain appropriate documentation, including but not limited to business and functional requirements, status updates, estimates, and other materials as requested by business leads or the Manager.

• Guide the team on newly identified processes and compile training documentation to enhance staff efficiency.

• Review incoming reporting requests and create reporting templates for use by the Analytics team members.

• Supervise the delivery of all reports to the business and facilitate feedback for each reporting analyst.

• Provide clear ownership through milestone and meeting preparedness, meeting facilitation, and active engagement in detailed tasks to ensure schedules are met.

• Engage with Dane Street personnel, contractors, clients, and third-party resources to guarantee complete project management from inception to completion.

• Deliver regular and detailed status updates to the Director and other business leads as necessary to ensure all actions are taken for timely project success.

• Support all internal business leadership as a subject matter expert when needed.

• Act as a liaison between the business and technology for analytics-related requests to bridge the gap between client needs and technological capabilities.

• Take ownership of smaller projects and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating independent and proactive efforts in this area and regarding all Dane Street initiatives.

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects, transitioning legacy systems to modern cloud architectures (e.g., AWS Redshift) while minimizing business disruption.

• Define data mapping, validation protocols, and ETL/ELT strategies to maintain data integrity while developing a long-term analytics roadmap prioritized by business impact and organizational KPIs.

• Design enterprise-level dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, and AWS QuickSight, emphasizing user experience (UX) and actionable insights.

• Oversee the completion and delivery of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Ad-Hoc reports to business partners according to the established reporting schedule.

• Allstate Reporting: Supervise the completion of the monthly Allstate Outcomes report based on required information.

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.

• EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred.

• A minimum of 3–4 years of experience in related roles is expected for this position. Proficiency in PC/Mac environments is required, including experience with MS Office, Excel, AWS QuickSight, Power BI, SQL, Python, and Tableau.

• JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Present exceptional communication skills with a thorough understanding of company business lines. The ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines is essential. Computer literacy and typing skills are required.

• Industry experience understanding concepts regarding industry jargon, workflow, and claims processing to advise clients on appropriate approaches to achieve stated goals, and to design, document, and execute those approaches.

• Ability to multitask across various responsibilities required to fulfill duties.

• Ability to document both subject matter content and effort status appropriately, ensuring all constituents are informed and project goals are met.

• Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and terminology. General knowledge of State and Federal compliance guidelines. Strong negotiation and communication skills, understanding of medical terminology, critical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently to meet specific deadlines are required.
