This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design, develop, and sustain scalable data models within Amazon Redshift to facilitate reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to enhance and optimize the architecture of the analytics warehouse.
• Create and enforce standards for schema design, naming conventions, and data lineage.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines that ensure clean and reliable data delivery to business users.
• Partner with stakeholders to collect requirements and convert business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Generate and uphold comprehensive data documentation, including definitions of metrics and transformation logic.
• Support BI platforms by guaranteeing analytics-ready datasets and assisting in dashboard development.
• Oversee data quality and implement testing, alerting, and validation processes to ensure the reliability of the warehouse.
• Identify opportunities to enhance data accessibility, consistency, and usability throughout the organization.
• Advocate for best practices in analytics engineering, such as version control, code reviews, and reproducible workflows.
• 2–4+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Science.
• Strong SQL proficiency with the capability to create efficient, scalable, and well-structured queries and data models.
• Practical experience with cloud data warehouse technologies, ideally AWS and Amazon Redshift.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders and transform reporting requirements into data architecture solutions.
• Experience with, or a strong interest in, dbt and version-controlled SQL transformation workflows.
• Solid grasp of data modeling concepts, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and slowly changing dimensions.
• Experience in creating and maintaining clear data documentation, metric definitions, and data catalogs.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Omni, or similar analytics platforms.
• Experience with Git and best practices for version control related to SQL, pipelines, and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Python experience for data pipelines, automation, or data engineering workflows is a significant advantage.
