This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Ownership of the analytical layer.
• Design and maintain analytical data models in DBT, ensuring traceability, efficiency, and quality of datasets.
• Build and optimize complex queries using SQL in BigQuery.
• Manage the creation of tables, views, routines, and scheduled queries to ensure data availability and quality.
• Contribute to enhancing the performance and cost efficiency of the Data Warehouse.
• Define, standardize, and document metrics and KPIs to ensure consistency across the organization.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand analytical needs and translate them into scalable and reusable data models.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Metabase and Tableau, ensuring alignment with analytical models.
• Ensure that visualizations are aligned with reliable and well-defined data models.
• Implement data quality testing and validation processes within DBT.
• Participate in defining best practices for versioning, testing, and documentation in Git.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture alongside the Senior Data Engineer.
• Previous experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Analytics with a strong focus on data modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (mandatory) applied to large data volumes.
• Solid experience in BigQuery, including dataset management, query optimization, and creation of routines and scheduled queries.
• Practical experience with DBT (mandatory): modeling, tests, macros, and documentation.
• Experience in cloud environments (preferably GCP or AWS), with an understanding of their data architecture.
• Experience in creating dashboards with tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or similar.
• Ability to work with business teams and translate analytical needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and best development practices.
• Fluent in English.
