Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and execute the comprehensive data transformation lifecycle utilizing dbt Cloud and Databricks.

• Create and enhance the diagnostic tool that identifies Product Gaps, Operational Errors, and Technical Hotfixes.

• Simplify technical complexities into high-performance, self-describing Data Products.

• Act as the technical escalation point, establishing best practices for modeling, testing, and documentation.

• Lead the shift towards a decentralized data model, creating self-service standards and driving AI agent initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering, including a minimum of 2 years in technical leadership or staff-level positions.

• Advanced expertise in SQL and dbt (models, tests, macros, exposures, documentation).

• A software engineering approach: Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and documentation-as-code applied to data transformations.

• Demonstrated experience in high-performance modeling: Star Schema, SCD Type 2, and managing complex transactional data.

• Familiarity with Lakehouse architectures (Databricks / Delta Lake).

• Capability to abstract intricate business rules (reconciliation, deferred interest, billing cycles) into modular and scalable code.

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English to collaborate with multi-regional teams and convey technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
