Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Implement & Lead dbt Deployment: Serve as the internal advocate for dbt.

• Establish the Single Source of Truth: Create the foundational data models that unify the entire organization.

• Enhance AI & Self-Service: Develop the Gold Standard tables that will function as the core for our Self-Service Platform and AI Assistants.

• Build for Historical Insight: Utilize dbt’s snapshotting and modeling features to enable historical tracking (SCDs).

• Optimize Pipelines: Partner with the Data Engineering team to enhance AWS Airflow DAGs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in dbt: You possess a comprehensive knowledge of dbt (models, macros, seeds, and tests).

• Proficient in SQL

• Experience in Dimensional Modeling

• Familiarity with the modern data stack: Proficient with Git/GitHub, Airflow (or equivalent orchestrators), and BI tools such as Metabase or Looker.

• Visionary: A strong interest in how clean data architecture facilitates LLMs and AI automation in the enterprise.
