Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Gather, cleanse, analyze, and interpret data to aid in business decision-making and enhance product optimization.

• Create Python scripts and SQL queries to streamline data processing, reporting, and analytics workflows.

• Play a key role in the development and improvement of internal analytics platforms and business applications by utilizing your knowledge of both front-end and back-end systems.

• Support the deployment and maintenance of cloud-based data services and analytics applications.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure timely delivery of analytics projects and manage project milestones among stakeholders.

• Document analytical approaches, technical solutions, and project results to foster knowledge sharing and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.

• Major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proficient in Python, with experience in data processing and automation.

• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.

• Practical experience in front-end and back-end application development through coursework, personal projects, research, or internships.

• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Alibaba Cloud, or Tencent Cloud.

• Knowledge of Git and collaborative software development practices.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Experience in project coordination or teamwork through student organizations, research projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Self-driven, proactive, and enthusiastic about learning new technologies and business areas.
