📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the semantic layer: Establish the logical data layer, ensuring that business rules are centralized and uniformly applied across the organization.

• Data governance and organization: Serve as the steward of data quality and standardization, organizing data to ensure it is readily accessible before it reaches analysts.

• Requirements gathering: Collaborate directly with stakeholders to convert business requirements into effective dimensional models.

• AI-driven automation: Integrate and advocate for the utilization of AI tools (like Claude) to enhance development, documentation, and data processing.

• Technical advancement: Sustain and improve orchestration processes, unit testing, and versioning, applying engineering best practices within the analytics framework.

• Advanced SQL: Expertise in complex transformations and query optimization.

• Data modeling: Significant experience in dimensional modeling and analytical environments.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery): Specific expertise in table optimization and processing within BigQuery.

• Data Warehousing: Familiarity with Data Warehouse or Data Lakehouse architectures, with an emphasis on cost efficiency and performance enhancement.

• Critical thinking in AI: Comfort with and willingness to incorporate Generative AI into the workflow.

• CI/CD and quality assurance: Background in unit testing and continuous integration pipelines.
