Analyst, Managed Care Reimbursements – Physicians Billing Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Creates fee schedule proposals and counter proposals to facilitate negotiations.

• Manages fee schedule data for all commercial and governmental payers.

• Accountable for the integrity of managed care and transplant fee schedules.

• Ensures that all fee schedules are regularly updated and effectively communicated.

• Develops schedules and strategies aimed at optimizing annual updates to fee schedules.

• Identifies contracting opportunities to improve net revenues.

• Tracks and conveys industry and government trends that affect managed care pricing.

• Analyzes managed care contracts and aids in the resolution of disputes.

• Maintains the transplant contracting database.

• Offers analysis and reporting support to PBS and the Faculty Practice Plan.

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and/or experience.

• No specific certification or professional license is required.

• No specific work experience is necessary.

• Skills: Analytical Thinking, Computer Literacy, Attention to Detail, Epic EHR, Health Administration, Health Care Systems, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Statistics.
