πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Manage complete analytics workflows: establish success metrics, generate insights and hypotheses, and create scalable data models.

β€’ Identify and implement enhancements across the developer and analytics lifecycle: detect bottlenecks, assess their impact, and collaborate with teams to ensure alignment and achieve measurable results.

β€’ Develop and sustain high-quality analytics foundations: set best practices for testing, alerting, documentation, and code review to guarantee data accuracy, reliability, and trustworthiness.

β€’ Assist in identifying and organizing essential business metrics, enhancing discoverability, alignment, and clarity among teams.

β€’ Persistently explore ways to implement improved operational workflows and more efficient analytics solutions.

β€’ Enhance the analytics community at Affirm: contribute to shared tools, review colleagues' pull requests, promote knowledge sharing, and foster cross-team collaboration.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 1-3 years of experience in an analytically-focused role (analytics, consulting, finance, etc.); ideally previous experience as an Analytics Engineer, Business Intelligence, or Data Analyst.

β€’ Proficient working knowledge of SQL (preferably Snowflake).

β€’ Familiarity with analytics development tools such as Git, Sigma, DBT, Snowflake, Claude Code, and Cursor.

β€’ Practical and theoretical understanding of A/B testing is an advantage.

β€’ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

β€’ Capability to think creatively and critically while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and frequently ambiguous work environment.

β€’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitatively intensive field such as statistics, math, finance, or economics is preferred.

β€’ A touch of laziness to seek efficient methods for completing less enjoyable tasks.

β€’ Humility and a team-oriented attitude – you actively seek to support your teammates.
