Analyst, Data Analytics – Business Intelligence

📋 Description

• Partnering with business executives to identify data needs and develop technical specifications for analytics.

• Assessing the relevance of data, exploring alternative sources, and ensuring strong analytics for stakeholder inquiries.

• Utilizing self-service tools to interpret complex datasets, deriving actionable insights for the business.

• Performing queries across various big data platforms, including Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS, for thorough analysis.

• Integrating datasets from different sources to facilitate comprehensive business analysis.

• Executing exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and identifying key business drivers.

• Creating predictive models for sales, demand, and other essential business metrics.

• Evaluating campaign results, measuring effectiveness, and identifying areas for improvement.

• Ensuring adherence to data governance policies and standards throughout analytics practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience working with SQL and Excel.

• Familiarity with BI/Visualization tools (experience with Looker and LookML is advantageous).

• Background in a revenue/yield-focused and/or media role is a plus.

• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python experience is a plus).

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
