This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Operate and monitor batch workflows in Control-M (Mainframe), ensuring SLA compliance.
• Respond swiftly to abends/failures in the workflow: analysis, correction, release, and reprocessing/restart.
• Conduct quick assessments in programs to identify causes and execution parameters.
• Implement changes in JCLs and COBOL/DB2 programs (steps, DDs, parameters, datasets, conditionals, RCs).
• Adjust and validate SYSINs (execution cards/parameters).
• Make modifications and analyses in COBOL/JCL programs following change processes (when applicable).
• Strong experience with Control-M Mainframe (dependencies, rerun/restart, troubleshooting).
• Proficiency in JCL and SYSIN.
• Background in failure analysis and TSO/ISPF environments.
• Practical knowledge of batch processes: RC/steps, datasets (e.g., GDG/VSAM as per client context).
• Availability to work evening or night shifts and weekends (schedule-based).
• Maintenance and analysis experience in COBOL/DB2 (preferred).
• Familiarity with Oracle databases (preferred).
• Understanding of utilities (e.g., SORT, IDCAMS) (preferred).
• Experience with support tools (preferred).
• Background with change management tools (e.g., Changeman) (preferred).
• Solid experience in online environments (preferred).
• Proficiency in CICS and COBOL/DB2 (preferred).
• Availability to work weekends (schedule-based) (preferred).
