Analista de Ciberdefesa – Noturno

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Prevent and mitigate cyber threats by proactively safeguarding systems and networks from malicious actions.

• Analyze and assess network events and system anomalies within a SOC (Security Operations Center) environment, utilizing security tools to detect and prevent breaches.

• Monitor and fine-tune security alerts generated by devices such as SIEM, IPS, and firewalls, while creating and adhering to playbooks for incident triage and escalation.

• Collaborate with Level 2+ analysts in researching and investigating cybersecurity threats, applying an investigative and curious approach.

• Handle incidents, requests, issues, and changes related to the managed solutions.

• Generate analytical reports on security events and incidents, and assist in the development and maintenance of KPIs.

• Participate in operational cadence meetings with clients and track the progress of new projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.

• Knowledge of computer networks and IT infrastructure, with a focus on information security and cybersecurity.

• Desired experience in customer service and support using incident management systems.

• Practical experience or knowledge in SOC environments and security tools, such as SIEM, IPS, and firewalls.

• An analytical and investigative mindset for addressing security events.

• Preferred knowledge in CompTIA Security+, ITIL, LPI-I, and LPI-II.

• Communication skills to participate in meetings and interactions with clients and teams.

• Ability to create and update playbooks and analytical reports to support the operational work of the SOC.

• Intermediate English skills for reading documentation and providing operational support.
